Privacy notice
SecureMe Browser Guard, SecureMe Agent and the SecureMe message checker. Operated by Real Data Tech for the organisation that enrolled your device.
What SecureMe is for
SecureMe has one purpose: to stop phishing, fraud and malicious websites before they harm you or your organisation.
What is collected
- Addresses of pages and links
- When you open a page or click a link to another website, the browser guard sends the website name and path to your organisation's SecureMe server to be checked. The part of an address after "?" is never sent. Well-known sites are cleared inside your browser and are not sent at all.
- Security events
- If a link is stopped or a warning is shown, the server records the address, the reasons, the time, your device name and what you chose to do, so your security team can protect other people.
- Device details
- Device name, operating system, SecureMe version, network address and the name you entered when connecting.
- Messages you choose to send
- Text you paste into the message checker, and messages you write to your security team.
What is not collected
SecureMe does not read your emails, chats or WhatsApp conversations, does not record what you type, does not collect passwords, and does not keep a browsing history of pages that were found safe beyond anonymous daily counts on your own device.
Who can see it and how long it is kept
Only authorised administrators of your organisation and Real Data Tech as service operator. Data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties. Security events are kept for 90 days and incidents until your organisation deletes them.
Email scanning
If your organisation connects Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, incoming mail for the listed mailboxes is analysed automatically to detect phishing. Message content is analysed in memory; only the sender, subject, verdict and reasons are stored.
